Chhattisgarh Governor - The third - HE Shri E.S.L. Narasimhan

Shri E.S.L. Narasimhan was sworn in as Governor of Chhattisgarh at Darbar hall of Raj Bhavan, Raipur on January 25, 2007. Acting Chief Justice of Chhattisgarh High Court, Justice L.C.Bhadu administered oath to Shri Narasimhan.

Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh, Speaker of State Assembly Shri Prem Prakash Pandey, Deputy Speaker of State Assembly Shri Badridhar Diwan, Leader of Opposition Shri Mahendra Karma, former Chief Minister and Member of Parliament Shri Ajit Jogi, Members of the State Cabinet Shri Brijmohan Agrawal, Shri Ajay Chandrakar, Shri Rajesh Munat, Ms. Lata Usendi, MLAs, Mayor Shri Sunil Soni, Commissioner Election Commission Dr. Sushil Trivedi, Chairman of Electricity Regulatory Commission Shri S.K.Mishra, Chairman of Human Rights Commission Shri L.J.Singh, Chairman of Chhattisgarh State Industrial Development Corporation Shri Rajindarpal Singh Bhatia, Chairman of State Women Commission Ms. Sudha Verma, Chairman of Youth Commission Shri Ranvijay Singh, Vice Chancellors Dr. Lakshman Chaturvedi, Dr. Chitranjan Hazara, Dr. Sachidanand Joshi, Shri Sthapak, Chairman of Red Cross Society Dr. A.R. Dalla, Additional Chief Secretaries Shri B.K.S.Ray and Shivraj Singh, Director General of Police Shri O.P.Rathor, Secretary to Governor Shri P.C.Dalai, representatives of political parties senior officers, distinguished guests, were present in the swearing ceremony. Programme was anchored by Chief Secretary Shri R.P.Bagai.

After swearing ceremony Governor Shri E.S.L. Narasimhan took salute of guard of honour.

Wife of Governor Smt. Vimla Narasimhan, Son Shri Dwaraknath and Niece Smt. Shobha were also present in the programme.
